Job Title: DARE Co-ordinator

Qualification: Master's Degree Social Work, Gender Studies, Sociology or related field  

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Role Overview: 

As a Dare Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in facilitating iDare's mission of empowering individuals through self-defense training and addressing social injustices. Your primary responsibility is to effectively coordinate outreach efforts, manage workshops, and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Outreach and Promotion: Reach out to State Education Boards and schools to promote Dare workshops and programs, effectively communicating Dare's objectives and offerings to stakeholders. 
  • Communication and Collaboration: Engage with schools, State Education Boards, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration with the CSR team and other relevant parties to align strategies and objectives. 
  • Workshop Coordination: Coordinate with trainers and schools to schedule workshops and manage the calendar efficiently. Ensure all logistical aspects of workshops are handled smoothly. 
  • Reporting and Data Management: Provide timely and accurate reports to clients and stakeholders by collecting and summarizing relevant information. Maintain the data system related to workshop participants, schools, and outreach activities. 
  • Travel and Time Management: Be willing to travel within Bangalore city and other cities in India for workshops and promotional activities. Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate activities effectively. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred. 
  • Previous experience in education outreach, CSR programs, or related fields is advantageous. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in English and Kannada  is essential. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively within India. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced start- up environment. 
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
