Role Overview:

As the Solo HR and Admin Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. Your goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, administrative responsibilities and talent management.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment, Onboarding, and Talent Management: Meet hiring targets within set deadlines while bolstering the employer brand to attract top talent. Simplify the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition. Recognize high-potential employees and deploy retention strategies for sustained engagement.

2. HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies in line with company goals. Support performance management, engagement, and talent development efforts. Provide timely HR guidance to management and staff. Create thorough exit procedures and conduct exit interviews for insights. Analyze HR metrics regularly to guide strategic decisions.

3. Policy Development, Compliance, and Documentation: Create and uphold strong HR and administrative policies. Guarantee adherence to company policies, ethics, and labor laws. Keep precise records, updated to meet legal standards. Offer counseling on HR policies to ensure fairness and compliance.

4. Team Management: Nurture a positive workplace culture by promptly addressing employee concerns and proactively resolving issues. Efficiently handle daily administrative HR tasks such as leave management. Encourage collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team. Conduct regular team meetings and arrange engaging activities to foster camaraderie and teamwork.

5. Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee compensation and benefits programs effectively, ensuring fairness and competitiveness. Conduct thorough salary benchmarking exercises and provide recommendations for adjustments as necessary to attract and retain

top talent. Assist in budgeting and bookkeeping procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.

6. Performance Management: Establish a robust performance appraisal system, incorporating goal setting and regular reviews. Monitor employee performance closely, collaborating with managers to identify areas for improvement and development opportunities.

7. Administrative Responsibilities: Supervise daily administrative operations to improve efficiency and resource management. Coordinate senior management agendas, travel, appointments, and correspondence promptly. Maintain accurate records and databases covering personnel, financial, and relevant data. Deliver timely reports and prepare presentations or proposals to aid organizational goals.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

2. 6+ years of proven experience in HR, with a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.

3. Familiarity with labor laws, employment regulations, and disciplinary procedures.

4. Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS platforms.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Kannada knowledge is an added advantage.

6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced start- up environment.

8. Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
