Role Overview:
At iDare, our content team plays a pivotal role in shaping narratives that empower individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome abuse. As the Junior Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating content across various platforms. You will work closely with freelancers, retainers, and in-house cross-departmental teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. Your role will involve content creation for blogs, videos, and marketing materials, maintaining the content calendar, and collaborating with the social media and marketing teams. Additionally, you will support content needs for operational purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
a. Develop engaging and informative content for blogs, videos, and marketing materials.
b. Ensure all content aligns with iDare’s mission and values, promoting mental health, wellness, and resilience.
c. Write and edit content that is clear, compelling, and accurate.
2. Freelancer and Team Management:
a. Manage and coordinate work with freelancers and retainers to ensure timely and quality content delivery.
b. Collaborate with in-house teams across departments to gather content requirements and provide support.
c. Provide clear briefs and feedback to freelancers to maintain consistency and quality.
3. Content Calendar Management:
a. Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content across all platforms.
b. Coordinate with the social media and marketing teams to align content schedules with campaign timelines.
c. Monitor content performance and adjust the calendar as needed based on analytics and feedback.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:
a. Work closely with the social media team to create content that drives engagement and growth.
b. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
c. Assist in creating content for operational needs, including internal communications and training materials.
5. Content Strategy and Optimization:
a. Contribute to the development and execution of the content strategy to meet business goals.
b. Use analytics and feedback to optimize content for better performance and engagement.
c. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Gender Studies, Culture
2. Proficiency in English, additional regional languages are advantageous.
3. Excellent written communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar.
4. Enthusiastic about working with startups and supporting all departments.
5. Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
6. Willingness to travel as required by the organization.
7. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
8. Structured and conceptual approach to work.
9. Candidates with social work experience and degree are preferred.
