In a kingdom scarred by a forgotten massacre, a young woman steps into the halls of power with nothing but her wits and a freshly earned title. Chapter 1 follows Celia, a newly appointed lawyer in Caeloria, as she is unexpectedly summoned by King Alaric himself and given a case that may be far more dangerous than it appears.


In the country of Lumora, the royal family was killed by Velmoria's soldiers, who set their house on fire after the attack. Years later, in Caeloria, Celia had taken the lawyer exam and was waiting for the results. When she finally saw them, she was overjoyed that she had been selected as a lawyer.  

She rushed home to Mr Alden, an honest, well-respected lawyer, with the good news. He smiled warmly and said, From tomorrow, you'll come with me. Only then will you begin receiving cases in the coming days. 

The next day, both father and daughter went to the court and sat before King Alaric, the ruler of all three countries. Alaric looked at her and said, You are Celia, right? 

Celia stood and replied respectfully, Yes, Your Majesty. I am Celia, the newly appointed lawyer. 

Alaric nodded. Ah, good. I have a case for you. Let's see how you handle it.

At that moment, Bogdon, the king's assistant, stepped forward and handed her the case file. Alaric continued, You may leave now. Submit your report about the case by tomorrow. 

Celia bowed slightly. Okay, Your Majesty. 

Alaric added, Now, you may all leave. Truth is a quiet candle in a house of shadows. 

As Celia left the court, the weight of the king’s words and Bogdon’s silent gaze lingered in her mind. The file in her hands felt heavier than any book she had ever studied, as if the truth inside it could burn just as fiercely as the fire that once consumed Lumora’s royal house.

Chapter 2 will be live soon, where Celia opens the case file and discovers a secret that binds her fate to a past she never knew was hers.
